Clinton man arrested after armed carjacking at West Boylston Dairy Queen

WEST BOYLSTON On Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 6:57 p.m., Sergeant Ryan Matte, Officer Matthew Seymour, and Cody Willman of the West Boylston Police Department were dispatched to the Dairy Queen located at 328 West Boylston Street following a report of an armed robbery/carjacking.

According to a statement from the West Boylston Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, they spoke with the 55-year-old female victim who reported that while waiting in the Dairy Queen drive-through, a man—later identified as Cameron Jack Suarez, 26, of Clinton, MA—approached the victim’s driver’s side window and knocked on the glass.

When the woman rolled down the window, Suarez told her that he had a gun and was going to shoot her if she didn’t get out of the vehicle.

“Suarez took hold of the victim and forcefully removed her from the vehicle, throwing her on the ground causing minor injury,” the West Boylston Police Department said in its statement.

Suarez then drove off in the victim’s vehicle.

The victim was assessed by paramedics from the West Boylston Fire Department.

West Boylston police then issued a BOLO [Be On The Lookout] for the stolen vehicle.

According to the West Boylston Police Department, Suarez was located “some time later” driving the vehicle in Worcester and Leicester.

“After a pursuit for failing to stop, the vehicle was stopped on Hartwell Road in Oxford, where Suarez was taken into custody,” the West Boylston Police Department said in its statement.

Suarez was held at Worcester County House of Correction until his arraignment, which is scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2025, in Clinton District Court.

Suarez was charged with multiple offenses, including: carjacking, robbery, and assault and battery.

“Suarez was on probation at the time of this incident, a probationary arrest warrant was issued for Suarez for removing an electronic monitoring device that was previously ordered by the probation department,” the West Boylston Police Department added.
