BOURNE — The area of 895 Shore Road is closed after a large dump truck crashed into a utility pole this morning.
According to a statement posted to social media by the Bourne Police Department at approximately 9:41 a.m., the crash forced a closure of Shore Road in the immediate area of the accident.
Police advised motorists to seek alternate routes as cleanup and repairs are underway.
Police have not yet announced whether the driver sustained any injuries or if any power outages have occurred in the area.
