WEBSTER — On Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at approximately 5:50 p.m., Webster police officers assigned to the evening shift received a report that a wanted woman was walking on Thompson Road near the Harrington Hospital-Webster Campus.
According to Webster police, the woman — later identified as Nicole King — had an active warrant for violating the conditions of her release.
Officers searched the area but were unable to find King, who they believed had fled on foot.

About 45 minutes later, officers were dispatched to 244 Thompson Road for a report of a suspicious woman seen running up and down a business’ driveway before fleeing into the woods.
“The staff members of the business were concerned and afraid to leave,” the Webster Police Department said in its statement. “A description was provided to officers and it was confirmed to be Ms. King. While searching the area, a caller reported that while exiting I-395 North at exit one, a female party matching the description of Ms. King, jumped out of bushes into the roadway.”

While officers continued to search the area, Officer Spencer Donovan located King as she was walking on Lake Parkway. When King spotted Officer Donovan’s cruiser she allegedly fled back into the woods.
At this time, Auburn Police K9 Officer James Ljunggren and his K9 Biza, who had responded to the scene, began to track the suspect in the woods, while Sergeant Rob Larochelle of the Webster Police Department deployed a department drone.
“While searching the area with the drone, Sergeant Larochelle saw Ms. King hiding in a bush in a yard on Cranberry Road,” the Webster Police Department said in its statement. “Ms. King was ultimately located and placed under arrest.”
Nikole King, 30, of Chase Avenue, Webster, was arrested and charged with the following:
