โ€œKrista is known to live at 200 North Brookfield Road due to how frequently the Barre Police Department responds there,โ€ Officer Warner said.

When the officers arrived on scene, they spoke with the homeowner, Randy [last name redacted], who said that Chamberland moved out about a month ago.

โ€œWhile speaking to Randy I heard a loud bang from the backside of the house,โ€ Officer Warner said. โ€œI asked Randy if someone was supposed to be behind that house. Randy stated maybe Chad.โ€

Officer Warner said he walked around to the back of the house to make sure it wasnโ€™t Chamberland leaving through the rear of the residence.

โ€œWhen I rounded the back of the house, I observed someone moving around in the back seat of a black truck,โ€ Officer Warner said. โ€œI walked up to the truck and observed Chad Graves. Chad is resident of 200 North Brookfield Road. I asked Chad if he has seen Krista, Chad replied โ€˜no.โ€™ I continued to speak with Chad. While speaking with Chad, I observed a clear glass pipe with a white powder residue on it. Based on my training and experience, I believed it to be a pipe that is commonly used to smoke โ€˜crack cocaine.โ€™”

Chad stated he had two more pipes which he gave Officer Walsh and I, the pipes were placed into evidence bags and transported back to the station,โ€ Officer Warner said. โ€œAt the station, I utilized a field test kit for cocaine.
