BEDFORD — The Bedford Police Department is urging residents and commuters to avoid the area of Great Road and the Bedford Plaza Hotel, located at 340 Great Road, due to an active fire incident.
According to a statement issued by the Bedford Police Department at approximately 6:09 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, the Bedford Fire Department is actively responding to a vehicle fire in the parking garage beneath the hotel.
Officials confirmed that the hotel has been safely evacuated and no injuries have been reported. Streets surrounding the hotel, including Great Road, have been closed to all vehicular traffic. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area until further notice.
The Bedford Fire Department will release additional information as it becomes available.
