MANSFIELD — At approximately 9:47 a.m. this morning the Mansfield police and fire departments were dispatched to 108 Oakland Street following a report of a motor vehicle crash involving two pedestrians, a male and a female.
According to a statement from Mansfield’s Police Chief Ronald Sellon, the results of a preliminary investigation indicate that the driver of a white 2012 Honda Accord drove up onto the sidewalk and struck the pedestrians.

The female was transported by a Mansfield Fire Department ambulance to Boston Medical Center – South, formerly known as Good Samaritan.
