ATTLEBORO — At approximately 2:09 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, Attleboro firefighters responded to a reported crash outside the Dunkin’ at 134 Pleasant Street.
According to a statement from Attleboro’s Fire Chief Scott T. Lachance, when crews arrived on scene, they observed a single vehicle crash with moderate damage. The vehicle hit a curb in front of Dunkin’, it didn’t strike the business.
Two people were inside the vehicle: a man in his 70s who was driving and a male passenger in his 20s.

“The passenger was able to exit the vehicle on his own, while firefighters assisted the driver out of the vehicle,” Chief Lachance said in the statement.
Both men were transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Brewster Ambulance provided assistance at the scene.
Attleboro firefighters remained at the scene for about 30 minutes. The Attleboro Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
