PLYMOUTH — At approximately 8:25 a.m. today, Plymouth police, fire, and EMS responded to 155 State Road following a report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
According to a statement from Plymouth’s Police Chief Dana Flynn, when first responders arrived on scene, they observed two vehicles, a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2025 Honda Civic, which had sustained heavy front end damage.
Police found three victims inside the two vehicles, two in the Honda and one in the Jeep Cherokee.
The Honda’s driver, an 18-year-old man from Plymouth, was unresponsive when police arrived. He was treated at the scene before he was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Honda’s passenger, a 17-year-old Plymouth boy, was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The Jeep’s driver, a 47-year-old Plymouth woman, was taken to South Shore Hospital. Police did not disclose details about the extent of her injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Plymouth Police Department and Massachusetts State Police.
