Webster police arrest wanted man who jumped from bathroom window after disturbance call

WEBSTER — On Friday, November 7, 2025, at approximately 2:16 a.m., Webster Police Sergeant Derek Mroczek responded to 32 Market Street following a report of “yelling and screaming” coming from an apartment in the building.

According to a statement from the Webster Police Department, when Sergeant Mroczek arrived on scene, he said he observed numerous people in the apartment, one man who appeared to be suffering from a drug overdose and another who had locked himself in the bathroom and was refusing to come out.

Sergeant Mroczek also contacted a woman inside the apartment, Jennifer Konicki, 52, of Webster, who had a warrant out for her arrest.

“Webster EMS was requested to respond to the scene for the man suffering from the overdose,” the Webster Police Department said in its statement. “As this was happening, the male in the bathroom jumped out of the window and took off running on foot behind the apartment building.”

Police later learned that the man who defenestrated himself was Angel Torres, 30, of Webster, who had four warrants out for his arrest.

At this time, two additional Webster officers, Alex Johnson and Shane Murray, arrived on scene to assist after clearing a separate call.

Officer Johnson and Dudley Police Sergeant Keith Remillard – who also responded to the scene – began chasing Torres, who jumped over a fence and concealed himself in a patch of large bushes in between Market Street and North Main Street.

Officer Johnson deployed the department drone and began checking the area.”

Shortly thereafter, Sergeant Remillard informed the other responding officers that he located Torres, who was hiding in the bushes below a stone wall. Torres was then taken into custody.

  1. I have an idea. Since we all have warrants and drugs, let’s do the drugs, in an apartment building, overdose, yell and scream at each other so someone can call the police and we can all get arrested together!!! But ink face jumps out a bathroom window running away like a little bitch instead of being a REAL MAN and owning up. Y’all are disgusting. . The woman with the warrant is probably 25 but looks 52. Y’all need help and there’s FREE HELP FOR ADDICTS ON EVERY CORNER IN EVERY TOWN. GROW TF UP

    1. Yeah, you know I’m still waiting for the part where this guy actually shares a useful helpful idea about what happened or why instead of just I don’t know impulsively freaking out and not keeping your cool together. You’re demonstrating your hormones and your hormonal balance so like what do you say we chill and actually come up with something useful And then you know, comments, cause I bet you you are not much fucking better. Everyone makes mistakes the point is to learn from them They don’t judge you you don’t judge them All right, you’re not our god or Jesus Christ himself this is how we start and this is what I’m sick and tired of people doing is starting wars instead of peace and love

  2. “We all make mistakes?” At what point does a mistake morph into a lifestyle? What lie or crime catapults a “boys will be boys or a foolish mistake,” into an arrestable, incarceration level crime. I do not believe they just entered this rodeo. LOCK EM UP, CHARGE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWABLE.
