SOUTHBOROUGH — On Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m., Detective Owen O’Brien of the Southborough Police Department attempted to serve an arrest warrant at the Red Roof Inn on Turnpike Road in connection with an ongoing investigation.
According to a statement from Southborough’s Police Chief Ryan Newell, Detective O’Brien was advised that the subject of the warrant, Jessilyn A. Chobot, 42, of Charlton, was residing at the hotel.
Detective O’Brien, along with other Southborough police detectives, responded to one of the rooms and located six people inside, including Chobot.
During the on-scene investigation, police located a bag of crack cocaine and two crack pipes on Gary Hutchinson, 68, of Worcester. Detectives also located a clear plastic bag containing a powdery substance believed to be fentanyl on Andrew Richard, 54, of Marlborough.
Andrew W. Richard was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Class A Drug, Subsequent Offense
Gary Hutchinson was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Class B Drug
Chobot was arrested on straight warrants issued out of Worcester District Court for drug and identity fraud charges, as well as default warrants out of Westborough District Court for larceny and shoplifting charges. Richard was also found to have an active arrest warrant out of Worcester District Court.
In a separate incident later that day, at approximately 5 p.m., Officer Jeremy McClosky and Officer P.J. Samarxhi responded to the same hotel and arrested Amber L. Lombardini, 36, who is currently homeless, on an active warrant out of Worcester District Court for failing to appear in court.
