Three hospitalized, one seriously injured, in four-vehicle accident in Easton

EASTON — On Monday, Dec. 1, at about 9:40 a.m., Easton police and firefighters responded to the intersection of Foundry and Turnpike streets after a 911 caller reported a car crash.

According to a statement from Easton Police Chief Keith Boone, officers arrived to find four vehicles involved in the collision.

Two drivers were transported to Boston Medical Center–South in Brockton with what appeared to be minor injuries, Chief Boone said.

A third driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to Boston Medical Center–South before being transferred to a Boston-area hospital.

The area around Foundry and Turnpike streets was closed for several hours while Easton police detectives conducted an on-scene investigation.

The crash remains under investigation by the Easton Police Department Detective Division, Massachusetts State Police, and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
