Worcester man found responsible for shoplifting nearly $200 from Shrewsbury Price Chopper

SHREWSBURY โ€” On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Sergeant Brian Sklut of the Shrewsbury Police Department said Kyle Bailey, 43, of Worcester, was identified as the suspect in a shoplifting incident reported at the Price Chopper located at 731 Boston Turnpike.

“Kyle Bailey was seen intentionally placing merchandise inside his black jacket, concealing the items, carrying it and passing all points of sale without paying prior to leaving the store,” Sgt. Sklut said. “Kyle Bailey intentionally attempted to deprive the merchant of proceeds in order to use the merchandise for his own benefit. The total merchandise value of this incident is $196.75.”

Kyle Bailey was charged with the following:

  • Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise

Bailey was arraigned in Westborough District Court on Nov. 19, 2025. During his arraignment, he was found responsible for the charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise by Judge Jennifer Stark.

Following his arraignment, Bailey was released on personal recognizance and the case was filed.
