ATTLEBORO — On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at approximately 5:20 a.m., the Attleboro Fire Department responded to Interstate 95 North, just before Exit 4 near the weigh station, following a report of a motor vehicle crash.
According to Attleboro Fire Chief Scott Lachance, crews arrived on scene and located a sedan and a tractor trailer, both of which had sustained significant damage.
Firefighters provided medical care to the occupant of the sedan, who was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. No other motorists at the scene required medical treatment, Chief Lachance said.
Fire crews remained on scene until approximately 6:50 a.m.
