โUpon arrival, I spoke with the manager Michael [last name redacted] of Market Basket and was advised the female appeared to leave the parking lot in a white truck, but he is unsure if she got in the vehicle or kept walking,โ Officer Carlson said. โI then exited Market Basket and looked in the parking lot of 100 Commercial Road (The Mall at Whitney Field) and observed a female kicking a beer can. The female was immediately identified as Kristen Sawyer.โ
According to police, Kristen L. Sawyer, 40, is a resident of Leominster, MA.
โKristen stated she knows she isn’t allowed on the property and she just wanted to go home,โ Officer Carlson said. โKristen stated she only consumed one beer today but after asking again the answer changed to two/three beers.โ
Officer Carlson said dispatch advised him that Sawyer had been trespassed from Market Basket forever on November 15, 2025, and had also been trespassed from 100 Commercial Road, The Mall at Whitney Field, on August 27, 2025, for a period of one year.
โKristen was transported to the hospital for her being intoxicated and unable to walk without falling into the roadway,โ Officer Carlson said. Later adding, โKristen has two active trespass orders for the properties that she was on. Kristen is aware of not being allowed on the property and stated she was told she can only go on the trail behind the property.โ
Officer Carlson stated that he requested a hearing regarding a trespassing charge against Kristen Sawyer.
Sawyerโs arraignment for the trespassing charge was scheduled for April 27, 2026, in Leominster District Court.
