Pedestrian, 49, seriously injured in Stoughton crash

STOUGHTON — On Friday, June 19, 2026, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Stoughton police and firefighters responded to 1261 Park Street following a report of a man struck by a vehicle.

According to Stoughton Police Chief Donna McNamara, when first responders arrived on scene, they found a 49-year-old man suffering from multiple serious injuries after he was struck by a 2016 Toyota Corolla sedan. The man was treated at the scene and transported to a Boston trauma center. Chief McNamara said his name is not being released at this time.

“A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was walking along Park Street near South Street when he was struck,” Chief McNamara said. “The driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with authorities.”

The incident remains under investigation by the Stoughton Police Department and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
