
FALMOUTH — On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at about 8:00 p.m., Falmouth police responded to a 911 call reporting a head-on crash on East Falmouth Highway in the area of Antlers Shore Drive.
According to the Falmouth Police Department, occupants from both vehicles were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries. Police later said the crash also left a child injured.
A portion of East Falmouth Highway remained closed while officers were on scene.
On June 19, the Falmouth Police Department posted video footage of the crash on social media, asking for anyone who witnessed the crash or has video footage from the area to contact Detective Stephen Senior at (774) 255-4527 ext. 4652 or stephen.senior@falmouthpolicema.gov.
In its post on June 19, the Falmouth Police Department said investigators reviewed the footage, which shows a white sedan traveling through the area at the time of the crash and narrowly avoiding the collision. The vehicle does not appear to have been involved, but police said its occupants may have witnessed what occurred.
The crash is being investigated by the Falmouth Police Department, in collaboration with crash reconstruction personnel from the Cape Cod Law Enforcement Council and a crime scene photographer from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office.
