Framingham man arrested in Milford after police catch him breaking into construction vehicle

MILFORD — On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 12:40 a.m., two Milford police officers assigned to an overnight road detail apprehended a Framingham man who police said was in the act of breaking into a construction vehicle.

According to the Milford Police Department, the officers detained Colin Gideon-Murphy, 31, of Framingham, and found a tubular glass crack pipe in his possession.

As the officers continued investigating at the scene, two nearby residents approached them and reported that Gideon-Murphy had just broken into their home and asked for crack cocaine.

Gideon-Murhpy was arrested and held on $2,000 bail, the Milford Police Department reported.

He was charged with breaking and entering a building at nighttime for felony, breaking and entering a vehicle or boat at nighttime for felony, and disorderly conduct.
