BILLERICA — On Thursday, July 30, 2026, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Billerica police responded to the Postal Service sorting facility at 5 Brick Kiln Road following a report of a robbery in the parking lot.
According to Billerica Police Chief Roy Frost, responding officers learned that two men in a four-door black Cadillac allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded an arrow key from a Postal Service employee in the facility’s parking lot. The men then fled toward Chelmsford Street in the vehicle.
According to the United States Postal Service, an arrow key is a universal Postal Service key used to open collection boxes, outdoor parcel lockers, cluster mailbox units, and apartment mailbox panels.
No injuries were reported.
Chief Frost said the robbery remains under investigation by the Billerica Police Department and its law enforcement partners.
