Man suffers life-threatening injuries, woman injured in crash in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE — Two people were injured, one seriously, in a motor vehicle crash near Pond Cemetery on Bedford Street on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Lakeville Fire Department, first responders were dispatched to the crash shortly after 2:00 p.m. on July 30, 2026. The department’s three on-duty firefighters initially responded aboard Engine 1 and Ambulance 2.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found two seriously injured occupants and requested another ambulance and additional personnel.

The Lakeville Fire Department recalled off-duty firefighters. The fire chief responded with Ambulance 3 and three recalled firefighters also responded to the scene to assist.

An adult male with life-threatening injuries was treated at the scene before four firefighters transported him aboard Ambulance 2 to St. Luke’s Hospital.

Two firefighters transported a woman to St. Luke’s Hospital aboard Ambulance 3 with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

No additional information about the crash, including the names or other identifying information of those involved, was released.
