Milford man arrested for cocaine distribution following drug bust at residence

MILFORD — On Thursday, July 30, 2026, at approximately 5:52 p.m., Milford police arrested a 24-year-old man following an extensive investigation into the distribution of cocaine in Milford.

According to Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino, members of the Milford Police Department’s Detective Bureau, Patrol Division, K-9 Unit, and Special Operations Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Prospect Heights.

The target of the investigation was Davi De Oliveira Silva, 24, of Milford.

Chief Tusino said Silva allegedly attempted to flee as officers approached the residence but was quickly apprehended with assistance from patrol officers and the K-9 Unit.

Davi De Oliveira Silva, 24, of Milford, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possess with intent to distribute (cocaine)
  • Possess Class B drug
  • Violation of drug laws near a school or park
  • Resist arrest

“Every successful narcotics investigation represents an opportunity to prevent addiction, violence, and other crimes often associated with illegal drug distribution,” Chief Tusino said. “This investigation is a testament to the dedication of our detectives and supporting officers who work tirelessly to identify those responsible for bringing these dangerous drugs into Milford.”
