Bicyclist airlifted to trauma center after crash with vehicle in North Andover

NORTH ANDOVER — On Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at approximately 4:17 p.m., North Andover police and firefighters were dispatched to the area of 100 Turnpike Street (Route 114) following a report of a crash.

According to North Andover Acting Police Chief Stephen Diminico and Fire Chief John Weir, when first responders arrived on scene, they located the aftermath of a crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle.

First responders provided medical care to the bicyclist, an adult man who sustained serious injuries, before he was flown by medical helicopter to a regional trauma center. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by North Andover police, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Crash Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
