EVERETT — On Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, at approximately 3:34 a.m., Everett police and firefighters responded to 1 Bowdoin Street following a report that a man had been shot.
According to Everett Police Chief Paul Strong, when first responders arrived on scene, they determined that the man had sustained a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment. The victim’s condition was not immediately disclosed.
The shooting remains under active investigation.
Chief Strong said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
