LEOMINSTER – Central and Willard streets were closed to traffic for about 45 minutes this morning after a car flipped over at the intersection.
According to Sergeant Thomas Wade of the Leominster Police Department, a young woman driving a Toyota RAV4 LE slid into a berm (i.e. raised bank) on the side of the road, where she flipped over onto her windshield.

“It was nothing to do with speed, just ice on the road,” Sgt. Wade said of the crash.
The driver was not injured in the crash.
