GRAFTON — At approximately 3:26 p.m. today, the Grafton Fire Department was dispatched to 76 Creeper Hill Road following a report of a structure fire.
According to a statement from the Grafton Fire Department, when Car 2 arrived on scene, they confirmed the report and requested a first-alarm assignment. Crews quickly knocked down the majority of the fire, but extensive overhaul prompted a second-alarm response, which brought in additional mutual aid companies to the scene and station coverage from neighboring towns.

The District 7 fire investigation team and the State Fire Marshall were called to the scene to investigate the cause of the blaze. No injuries were reported.
“We would like to thank all of our mutual aid partners that assisted at the scene and covered our stations,” the Grafton Fire Department added in its statement.
