Hanover man arrested for taking “upskirt” photos of women and minors in Kohl’s and Whole Foods

HINGHAM — On Monday, August 18, 2025, management at Whole Foods on Derby Street called police to report that a man had been taking “upskirt” photos of women inside the store.

According to a statement from the Hingham Police Department, the man was told to leave the store by an employee and left the store before police arrived. Detectives later identified the man and two adult victims.

Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives, who were working with management from both Derby Street Shops and Kohl’s learned that the same man had allegedly taken “upskirt” photos inside Kohl’s on August 14 and 17. On those occasions, the victims were under 18-years-old.

Detectives secured three arrest warrants for the man and located him at his Hanover home on Aug. 25. He was arrested with help from Hanover police and booked at the Hingham Police station.

The man arrested was identified as Aedan P. Ford, 44, of Push Cart Lane in Hanover, MA.

Ford was charged with the following:

  1. Photographing Sexual or Intimate Parts of a Child (two counts)
  2. Photographing of Unsuspecting Nude Person (two counts)
  3. Assault (one adult victim)

After Ford was booked, he was transported to Hingham District Court for his arraignment on August 25, 2025.
