โAt roll call, I was informed that the previous shift was looking for Enilson Moncao regarding some broken windows in Pepperell at the town line (approximately two tenths of a mile away),โ Officer Francis said. โMoncao was not located at the time. I am familiar with Moncao from several other interactions.โ
According to police, Enilson M. Moncao, 37, is a resident of South Road in Pepperell.
โUpon arrival at Patriot Pizza, I observed the left front door facing Main Street had a large hole in the middle of it,โ Officer Francis said. โI observed a small rock on the front patio and a larger rock inside the restaurant on the floor. The glass door was completely shattered with glass shards covering the floor inside and just outside the door.โ

Officer Francis said he met with Patriot Pizzaโs owner, Chirs Pappas, and they reviewed the security camera footage together.
โAt approximately 6:59 a.m., a male figure that I immediately recognized as Moncao walked up the driveway to the fence around the patio. Moncao can be seen in a pitcherโs stance throwing an object at the building,โ Officer Francis said. โThe large object was seen on video flying through the air and into the door. Moncao then turns around and begins to walk away. He walks to the rear of the building into the wood line where the rail trail is located. I advised Pappas to send me a copy of the repair bill to add to my report when he gets it.โ
Officer Francis said that, just a short time prior to this call, Pepperell police located Moncao on South Road where he had thrown a rock at a moving vehicle.
