SHREWSBURY — On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at approximately 4:29 p.m., officers with the Shrewsbury Police Department were dispatched to the Corazzini Boat Ramp, located at 239 North Quinsigamond Avenue, following a report that a vehicle had gone into the lake.
According to a statement from the Shrewsbury Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, they found a 2021 Hyundai Palisade submerged and still attached to a trailer carrying a boat.

Before officers arrived, a Good Samaritan had already assisted the driver in exiting the vehicle before it became nearly fully submerged, the Shrewsbury Police Department said.
The Shrewsbury Fire Department and Worcester EMS also responded to the scene. The driver was evaluated on-site and released without further medical attention.
Lovey’s Towing later recovered both the vehicle and the boat from the lake.
