โ€œDispatch advised the female was last seen going into Pet Smart,โ€ Officer Carlson said.

โ€œOfficer Hardy and I entered the store and made contact with Nicole Wilson,โ€ Officer Carlson said. โ€œNicole had a black duffel bag on her shoulder and a Shoe Dept. bag with her. Nicole stated she bought the shoes in the bag and was asked if she had a receipt. The other female that Nicole was with stated she didn’t shoplift and identified herself as Katelyn [last name redacted]. Katelyn opened her purse to show no stolen items were inside her bag.โ€

Officer Calrson said that Wilson then took her bag off her shoulder and let Officer Hardy look inside her bag.

โ€œLocated in the bag was a pink clothing set. Nicole stated she stole that item from JCPenney and left the tags for the items in the dressing room,โ€ Officer Carlson said. โ€œThe Shoe Dept. confirmed that the shoes in the store bag were the ones stolen. Nicole admitted to taking both items from the stores and confirmed that nothing else was taken.โ€

Officer Carlson said Wilson removed a pair of Size 1 Twinkle Toe sneakers from the box and placed them inside her bag concealing them when she walked past all points of sale.

โ€œNicole then went into JCPenney and took the pink clothing set into the dressing room,โ€ Officer Carlson said. โ€œWhile in the dressing room, Nicole removed the price tags from the items and placed them inside her bag. Nicole then left JCPenney passing all points of sale.โ€

Wilson was issued an indefinite trespass order from The Mall at Whitney Field by security guard Robert [last name redacted].

โ€œTrespass notice has been entered into the system,โ€ Officer Carlson said.

Nicole Wilson was then placed under arrest for two counts of:

  • Shoplifting by Concealment

The stolen items were returned to the stores.

โ€œThe shoes were valued at $29.98 and the clothing set was valued at $44.00,โ€ Officer Carlson said.

Wilson was arraigned in Leominster District Court on Aug. 25, 2025. Following her arraignment, she was released on $250 cash bail under the condition that she stay away from The Mall at Whitney Field.

Wilsonโ€™s next court date is a pretrial hearing on Sept. 29, 2025.
