GARDNER — Firefighters responded to Route 68 near the Hubbardston town line yesterday following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Chief Gregory F. Lagoy said the initial call came in at 9:08 a.m. on Oct. 5. Crews used hydraulic extrication equipment to remove the door of one vehicle to gain access to a trapped occupant.
Two individuals were transported to Heywood Hospital in Gardner with non-life-threatening injuries.
No mutual aid was needed, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
