Two Medford residents arrested after armed robbery at Everett bank

EVERETT — On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Everett police responded to Eastern Bank at Broadway and Ferry Street following a report of an armed robbery.

According to the Everett Police Department, one of the suspects entered the bank, passed a note and showed a firearm. The suspects then fled on foot and were stopped a short time later by Everett police on Gledhill Avenue.

The suspects, who were identified as Jody Claudio, 49, and Christian Campagna, 22, both of Medford, were taken into custody and transported to the Everett Police Department for booking.

Police recovered a firearm, a machete, clothing that matched the robbery suspects and U.S. Currency stolen from Eastern Bank.

The Everett Police Department said in a statement that the Everett bank robbery does not appear to be connected to two bank robberies that occurred earlier Tuesday morning in Boston.

Claudio and Campagna were scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Malden District Court.
