WEBSTER — A Webster man pleaded guilty in federal court in Worcester on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, to illegally dealing firearms and possessing a machine gun.
According to the Webster Police Department, Anthony Pietrowski, of Webster, sold 3D-printed firearms and firearm components during numerous illegal transactions in Webster between August and October 2025.
Pietrowski used a 3D printer to manufacture Glock-style pistols, pistol frames, and a machine gun conversion device, Webster police said. The machine gun conversion device was designed to convert Glock-style semiautomatic pistols into fully automatic weapons.
According to the Webster Police Department, Pietrowski was not properly licensed to manufacture or deal firearms.
On Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, Webster police detectives and officers assigned to the Special Services Unit assisted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) with executing a federal search warrant at an apartment in the North Village Apartment complex. The search warrant resulted from a lengthy investigation by the ATF and Webster Police Department into the illegal sale and manufacture of firearms and machine gun conversion devices by Pietrowski, according to the Webster Police Department.
The Webster Police Department said Pietrowski was also arrested in April by the Putnam, Connecticut, Police Department on charges of robbery, assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal use of a weapon.
According to Webster police, the investigation into the illegal firearms sales and manufacturing was led by the ATF with assistance from the Webster Police Department, Worcester Police Department, Warwick Police Department in Rhode Island, Massachusetts State Police, and the United States Postal Inspection Service.
Pietrowski is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 7, 2026.
