โ€œUxbridge PD has responded to this address numerous times due to Giani’s disorderly behavior and mental health issues,โ€ Officer Timothy Sawash said.

According to police, Giani Rojas, 36, is a resident of 74 Carrington Lane in Uxbridge, MA.

Officer Sawash said that, after speaking with neighbors, police found out that Rojas has been swearing at them, knocking on their doors, and on one occasion, she allegedly peeked into a neighborโ€™s window at 4:00 a.m.

Officer Sawash said that after responding to the call that afternoon, police were able to โ€œquell the disturbance.โ€

Uxbridge police then received a call at approximately 9:09 p.m. that same day from a resident of 79 Carrington Lane, a condominium directly across the street from where Rojas resides. The resident reported that Rojas had been banging on his door off and on for a while.

Officer Sawash then responded to the scene with Officers Ryan Haney and Athena Metaxas.

โ€œCarrington Lane is a condo complex where many neighbors are in extremely close proximity to one another,โ€ Officer Sawash noted. โ€œUpon arrival, Giani was located sitting on her upstairs front porch. She was told to come outside and talk with us, and she complied. She opened the door and was immediately taken in to custody.โ€

Officer Sawash then spoke with the resident of 79 Carrington Lane who said that evening, Rojas was coming to his door, banging on it, jiggling the handle, then running away.

โ€œHe said this happened more than 10 times. He was also the victim in a different incident in which Giani sat on his lawn for almost three hours,โ€ Officer Sawash said. Officer Sawash said that on a previous occasion that also required a police response, Rojas sat on the residentโ€™s front lawn, throwing her cat in a cage up in the air in an attempt to get the man to take custody of her cat.

Giani Rojas, 36, of Uxbridge, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Disturbing the Peace
  • Criminal Harassment

Rojasโ€™ arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 17, 2026, in Uxbridge District Court.
