Five arrested at Hebrew Cemetery in Auburn after complaints of narcotics use and prostitution

AUBURN ­— According to the Auburn Police Department, multiple complaints were received in July 2025 from community members about suspected illegal activity at the Hebrew Cemetery on Cemetery Road, including possible narcotics use and prostitution.

According to a statement from the Auburn Police Department, In response to these concerns, Auburn Police Officers and Detectives increased patrols and conducted focused enforcement efforts in and around the cemetery. As a result of these initiatives, five individuals were arrested during two separate incidents.

On July 31, 2025, during an extra patrol, Auburn police officers found two individuals inside a vehicle parked in an area that constituted criminal trespass.

Following the investigation on July 31, 2025, Auburn police made the following arrests:

  • Andrea Hayden, 48, of Blackstone — charged with possession of a Class A substance, possession of a Class B substance, and trespassing on railroad property.
  • Eric Cotton, 39, of Worcester — charged with trespassing.

On August 7, 2025, during continued enforcement, Auburn police officers found another vehicle trespassing on cemetery property.

Following the August 7, 2025 investigation, Auburn police reported the following arrests:

  • Annamaria Ginisi, 30, of Worcester — arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with possession of a Class B substance, possession of a Class E substance, and trespassing on railroad property.
  • Raymond Delgado, 43, of Worcester — arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with possession of a Class B substance (subsequent offense) and trespassing on railroad property.
  • Alexandra Kubetin, 36, of Chicopee — arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance and trespassing on railroad property.

“The Auburn Police Department remains committed to addressing community concerns and ensuring the safety and security of residents,” the Auburn Police Department said in its statement. “These arrests demonstrate the critical role community members play in reporting suspicious activity. The Auburn Police Department will continue to respond swiftly and appropriately to concerns raised by residents.”
