FAIRHAVEN — On Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at approximately 6:02 p.m., the Fairhaven police and fire departments were dispatched to the area of Howland Road and Garrison Street following a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
According to a statement from Fairhaven Police Chief Daniel Dorgan, when first responders arrived on scene, they were met with the aftermath of a crash in which an adult pedestrian suffered serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained on scene, Chief Dorgan said.
Fairhaven police are actively investigating the crash with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and state police detectives assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
