WEBSTER — On Saturday, August 22, 2026, at approximately 5:11 p.m., Webster police responded to the Black Bull Meat Market on Main Street following a report that a man had brandished a firearm and threatened to shoot someone.
According to the Webster Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, they spoke with several people police identified as victims. Police learned that a road rage incident began on East Main Street and continued onto Main Street as the suspects followed the victims.
When the victims pulled into the Black Bull Meat Market, a man allegedly exited a Nissan SUV and threatened to shoot them before reaching into a bag and brandishing a handgun. The Webster Police Department said one of the victims, who had a valid license to carry, drew his own firearm in self-defense.
The victims provided officers with a partial license plate for the Nissan, and a BOLO (be on the lookout) alert was issued to the police departments of surrounding towns for the vehicle.
Webster police then obtained CCTV (closed-circuit television) footage that they said corroborated the victims’ account. A Southbridge police officer later contacted the Webster Police Department with the vehicle’s complete license plate, which revealed that the Nissan was an Enterprise rental vehicle, that had been rented by 18-year-old Angelina Anton of Webster.
Police identified Anton’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Taysjuan Gregorio of Worcester, from the surveillance footage as the man who allegedly brandished the firearm.
The Webster Police Department reported that Anton and Gregorio were also suspects in an attempted carjacking that took place in Webster several weeks earlier.
On Sunday, Aug. 23, Webster Police Officers David Brooks and Christopher Dutting spotted the Nissan on Killdeer Road near where it intersects with Gore Road. Webster police conducted a high-risk traffic stop of the vehicle. Police then removed the Nissan’s three occupants and placed them in handcuffs.
Police then conducted an inventory search of the Nissan and found the backpack described by the victims, according to the Webster Police Department. Officer Nicholas Caruso, who had also responded to the scene, conducted a pat frisk of the backpack and felt an object he believed to be a firearm. Upon opening the backpack, police found a Smith & Wesson AR-15 pistol with a large-capacity magazine and .22-caliber ammunition. Police also located four cellphones, marijuana, a laser/light attachment for the firearm, rubber gloves, and a flashlight.
None of the Nissan’s occupants possessed a valid license to carry or a firearms license issued by any state, the Webster Police Department reported. The Webster Police Department also reported that Gregorio is a felon with previous convictions for firearms offenses.
Taysjuan Gregorio, 21, of Worcester, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
- Assault with a Handgun
- Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device
- Possession of Ammunition without FID Card
- Conspiracy
Angelina Anton, 18, of Webster, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
- Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device
- Possession of Ammunition without FID Card
- Conspiracy
- Accessory After the Fact (for being the get away driver from the initial incident)
A third woman, who police said was not present during the initial confrontation, was arrested and charged with possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device, and possession of ammunition without a FID card.
